Let’s go chasing waterfalls!
This year is the first in a series of three where themed medals will be given to each rider at the end of the event. The medals are beautifully hand-crafted and represent three quintessential aspects of Sabie – waterfalls, pine trees, and trout! The individual pieces will fit together like a puzzle to form the final medal at the end of the race in 2024. The first one in the series is in honour of the many stunning natural water features we have tucked away in the forests around town.

Weather forecast for April/May
Sabie would be nothing without its temperamental weather. You’ll often find yourself adding and removing layers all throughout the day, with average temperatures in late April/early May ranging from 10°C to 24°C. We enjoy summer rains so the chances of a downpour are slim to none at 8%. With that being said, our weather can be unpredictable so stay on the safe side and pack for warm days and cool nights. Planning a trip? Keep this in mind: Hottest month – November (14°C – 29°C) Coldest month – July (7°C – 22°C) Wettest month – January (49%) Driest month – June (3.3%)
